Bayern Munich moved eight points clear of their rivals after beating Augsburg 3-0 at home on Friday. With Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick in German Bundesliga football.

Back to the second half in the 49th minute, Bayern almost took the lead when Alfonso Davies threw the ball to Leon Goretzka who headed it in the penalty area, but unfortunately the ball hit the crossbar.
Bayern Munich were awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute after VAR ruled Mads Pedersen had handled the ball in the box, and Harry Kane took the shot and hit it into the right post, while Labrovic dived the other way, giving Bayern a 1-0 lead.
Bayern continued to press forward. In the 67th minute, Joshua Kimmich fired a full right-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area. Labrovic made another save. Then, Kimmich had another chance four minutes later, but his shot went just wide of the crossbar.

The referee checked the VAR of the incident in the penalty area before deciding that Harry Kane was fouled by Kevin Schlotterbeck and it was a penalty. Schlotterbeck received a second yellow card and was sent off. Kane took responsibility for the penalty and scored again, moving the score to 2-0.
Before the end of the game, Bayern Munich scored a goal to make it 3-0 when Goretzka crossed the ball into the penalty area for Harry Kane to jump and catch the ball with his first touch before heading it in easily for another hat-trick for the England striker. With this score, Bayern Munich extended their lead over their opponents to 8 points.
